Perched on the corner of King Street and neighbours of full-time pizza parlour, Crazy Pedros, Dooley & Rostron and Factory Coffee are an unlikely match made in heaven.
The bespoke tailoring business has been hand-crafting shirts in the city for over 55 years, providing city slickers with made-to-order, high-quality Italian garments.
When they moved into their site on King Street last April, Adam Dooley, experienced tailor and owner of Dooley & Rostron brought with him Factory Coffee – a friendly space serving locally roasted coffee and freshly baked goods from a hatch at the side of the store.
As it’s been a year since both businesses opened their doors, they’re having a week-long birthday celebration – starting today with FREE slices of birthday cake from WildChild Cakes.
The first 12 people through the door from 12pm will get to enjoy a slice with their coffee!
On Tuesday, goody bags and golden cup prizes will be given away to those dropping by and Wednesday will see the unveiling of the Dooley & Rostron prize wheel.
Anyone spending more than £10 on coffee gets a spin on the wheel, with prizes ranging from free coffee and cake to a whopper of a prize of FREE coffee for a whole month!
The best date to pop down in your diary though is Thursday, as from 8am until 10am, Factory Coffee will be hosting a morning rave, the perfect morning pick me up!
Soundtracked by Manchester DJ and Factory Coffee barista, Rarebit there’ll be free coffee from 8am – 9am with plenty of tunes to perk you up for your day ahead. Think 90s Café Del Mar vibes with a blend of deep melodic house and disco.
Friday will also see the business throw a huge competition across their social media where you can win a bespoke shirt experience and free coffee for a month. There’ll also be birthday donuts by DGHNT MCR.
If you’re passing by King Street this week, or just fancy a Thursday morning rave, then make sure you pay the folk at Factory Coffee and Dooley & Rostron a visit. They’re operating a strictly good vibes only policy for their birthday week, and with free cake, coffee and music on offer you’d struggle not to radiate the same infectious energy.
