Back in November of last year, we curated the first-ever NFT exhibition at Manchester Art Fair, a collaboration with KnownOrigin which asked ‘WTF is an NFT?‘.
With over 8,000 people passing though the space over the weekend and selling over 50 editions from our curated Manchester artists, Numan and LeiMai LeMaow, we also wanted to explore the widely talked about idea of ‘utility’ in the industry – and adding more value to the purchase of an NFT.
Thus with the purchase of every piece of art, an RSVP mechanism would be unclocked – one which invited you to a FREE Supperclub, attended by both artists.
The time has now come for this Supperclub to take place, and it’ll be on Friday 2nd September from 7pm at Canvas, the city’s newest forward-thinking multi-purpose music venue, restaurant and members’ club, and the latest addition to the flourishing Circle Square development on Oxford Road.
With a globally-inspired 8-dish menu, the Supperclub will completely transform Canvas into a visual showcase of both Numan and LeiMai LeMaow’s works – who will also be attending and dining at the event alongside guests who purchased their art.

Once the Supperclub starts to wind down, there’s going to be an afterparty in the Canvas Members’ Area with Numan taking to the decks, continuing his rise as one of the best up-and-coming DJs in the crypto-space, and hot off the back of sets at both NFT NYC and ETH PARIS.
Joining Numan on the lineup will be AK GRAMM (Habitat, Gramm) and SHAM STEELE (TRPHSE).
The afterparty is open to everybody, not just supperclub guests – but is through RSVP only here.

If you’d like to attend the Supperclub, you’ll need to buy either of Numan’s or LeiMai LeMaow’s pieces and use the unlockable link on the NFT before Friday 26th August. It’s also a chance for people to jump feet first into this exciting artistic revolution, support local artists and be part of one of Manchester’s most exclusive supper club events ever.
‘Visionary’ by LeiMai, and ‘The House of Mirrors’ by Numan both include an invitation to the supper club, and with the ‘added extra’ side of NFTs – both artists will benefit from any future resale of their art. What’s more, the payment to both the artists, and subsequently the chef, staff and venue for the supper club will be paid out in Ethereum – likely giving the recipients more value over time when compared with traditional fiat currencies.
