Distil your own Cuckoo Gin!
Right next to the Bee Centre is the Brindle Distillery, home to the award-winning Cuckoo Gin. Here you can join a 3-to-4-hour experience for the keenest of gin fans. This workshop combines an informal talk about the founding of the distillery and gin, with a tour of the venue and the chance to create your own blend of botanicals in a mini pot still, resulting in your own recipe 70cl full size bottle of gin. Your recipe will be signed off by the Master Distiller and kept on record for future reordering.

Ribble Valley on an E-Bike

The Pendle Witch Trail
A self-guided car or bike trail, the Pendle Witch Trail will take you on a journey through Lancashire and the dark history of 1612, a lonely road the Pendle Witches took through the Ribble Valley to Lancaster Castle where they stood trial. Along the way there are places to visit which help piece together a mystery which is over 400 years old. It is a story which still haunts the traveller today. How did ten villagers come to be found guilty of witchcraft? And why does mystery still surround them even though their trial is one of the best documented in the world?

The Honeybee Experience at the Bee Centre
Enjoy a Honeybee Experience at The Bee Centre. Lasting around 90 minutes, the Honeybee Experience will teach you all about the honeybee and beekeeping techniques from an experienced beekeeper before stepping into a beekeeping suit to get up close and personal with the bees as the hive is opened. You’ll see the bees bringing nectar and pollen back to the hive, making honey, building honeycomb and doing their famous ‘waggle dance’.

Blackpool Tower
Everyone loves a bit of Blackpool Tower, and most people went up here as a kid at some point. Any visit to Blackpool isn’t complete without a trip up to the top of the tower, where you can see for miles and even look straight down at that bit with the glass floor.
