Admit it – you can’t resist a boozy brunch. We all know that brunch on its own is good, but combined with loads of pals and loads of drinks, it’s even better. When it comes to bottomless brunch, Manchester has loads of spots offering audacious plates stacked with goodness of egg, bacon, or otherwise breakfast-adjacent food (or even pizzas, noodles and burgers – the rules are there for breaking). Then you add copious amounts of fizz, beer, bloody marys and the like, and you’re well on your way to a weekend well spent.

Whether you’re recovering from a big night, or are pre-empting one, this is the best way to do it in style. We can’t be held responsible for what happens next. But resistance is futile…

Here’s our guide to the best bottomless brunch Manchester has to offer…

La Bandera

As one of the city centre’s most established tapas restaurants, La Bandera are constantly shaking up their bottomless brunch offering. If you enjoy your brunch piled high with cured meats, crispy potatoes and Iberian flavours, this one’s for you. First, you get a huge sharing platter for the table, plus three mini tapas each, including favourites like calamari and smoky Spanish meatballs. Depending on when you go, and if you want unlimited cocktails on top of cava and beer, it all costs between £30 and £42 per person, to which we say, ‘vamos’.

The Bay Horse Tavern

The Bay Horse Tavern, a Tib Street mainstay, offers a bottomless brunch with an unapologetically pubby approach. Choose from hearty options like bacon sausage and egg sarnies and full Englishes as well as the likes of French toast and loaded ‘smashed’ croissants. Whether you fancy a house lager or wine, a spritz or mimosa, or the nuclear option of a daytime espresso martini, the drinks list at this traditional-with-an-NQ-edge boozer has you covered too.

Boogalú

Northern Quarter cocktail and taqueria Boogalú offer a couple of ‘Boogie Brunch’ options, one geared more towards those who want to consume unlimited tacos, and one towards those who are there primarily for the booze. The former is £30, the latter is £40. They say they’re inspired by flavours and sounds from ‘Havana to Acapulco’ and a steady stream of margaritas and daiquiris available, it won’t be long before you’re boogying in your booth.

Bunny Jackson’s

This is one of the city’s most unapologetically bold bottomless offerings, because not only do you get bottomless booze (house lager, frozen cocktails and the like) but there’s also bottomless chicken wings and fries. No need to pretend this is anything as sophisticated as ‘brunch’, it’s just fun. What’s more – it’s available every single day between 12 and 4pm. There’s no need to book, just rock up and enjoy.

Crazy Pedro’s

A bottomless brunch every single day? Madness, surely? And you’d be mostly right but when has Crazy Pedro’s not been a little bit of a maverick when it comes to eating and drinking? Basically, you can head on down to Pedro’s any day before 7pm and order their bottomless option which comes with unlimited slices and booze for just £29.50 per person. It’s that easy. You can make bookings for it on the weekend too which is probably advised considering how popular it can be.

Diecast

Whether it’s their vast industrial event space, multicoloured frozen daiquiris, or next-level beer garden BBQs, the guys at Diecast really don’t do things by halves. The same is true of their bottomless offering, which is £40 every Saturday and gets you a ‘Neopan’ pizza (crispy Neaoplitan crust, with a deeper NYC-style base), plus 90 minutes unlimited frozen daiquiris with eccentric flavour combinations like blueberry hibiscus and pineapple passionfruit. Occasionally they take the action up several notches with the ‘Bottomless Brunch Royale’, where for £50 you get all of the above while enjoying a high-octane interactive ‘dragstravaganza’. Arrive hungry and ready to dance.

Elnecot

This sophisticated Ancoats favourite consistently knocks it out of the park with a brunch offering more elevated than most. You might have heard people speak of the crispy pork belly with hash browns, a dish which should have its own fan club at this point, or the slow-cooked coconut ‘sexy greens’, which are yes both sexy and green but also so much more. The bottomless aspect comes in the form of two hours of unlimited drinks which you can add for just £26 per person and includes a choice of prosecco, lager and selected cocktails.

House of Fu

If you prefer your bottomless brunch infused with Korean and Japanese flavours, look no further than House of Fu the city centre spot that’s known for its pastel coloured interiors and equally pretty bowls, broths and baos. Bottomless works like this: You choose a main, and for 90 minutes you can enjoy unlimited lager, yuzu margs, prosecco and assorted spritzes. Mains include gyoza and teryaki bowls with meat and vegan options, as well as Korean fried chicken and steak donburi. Be sure to book your slot Friday between 5 – 8pm and Saturdays 11.30am – 4pm.

Flight Club

If you’re celebrating something special, or are planning a big get-together with friends, Flight Club has one of the most decadent bottomless brunches we know of. Not only does every group get given a bottle of fizz per guest, but the team will keep the pizza paddles flowing until you’re stuffed. And, of course, a designated sesh on the darts boards. At £40 per person for you fill of pizza, drinks and darts, we think it’s a solid way to flex your skills while having a right old laugh with your mates too.

Gaucho

Gaucho’s brunch offering switches up regularly, adopting a whole host of thematic slants over the years, from Ibiza beach party to Taylor Swift. But whatever the current vibe is, these Argentinian-inspired brunch dishes always hit a high note. You can choose as many starters as you like things like burrata, empanadas and popcorn chicken as well as a main and a desert too. Spritzes, cosmos and martinis are abundant, as well as their alcohol-free counterparts. At £65 per person, it’s not a budget option, but for a Latin feast on this scale, you can certainly get your money’s worth.

Italiana Fifty Five

Italiana Fifty Five are all about creating a relaxed and decadent atmosphere with their bottomless brunch offering. They have two spots in the city centre and one out in Didsbury Village, so town-dwellers and suburb-dwellers are equally catered for. Simply pick regular or vegan, and tiered trays of Italian-inspired brunch bites (think bruschetta, arancini, mini pizzas) will arrive at your table. The prosecco keeps coming, and you can order freely from the cocktail menu too.

Lost Cat

Oldham Street’s Lost Cat might be better known for dancing and cocktails, but their brunch offering is equally riotous. The concept is beautifully simple – for £35 per person you pick a burger (cheeseburger, chicken and BBQ), then indulge in unlimited fries and drinks. If you’re looking for a brunch option that is in full party mode from the get-go, Lost Cat is the place to spend a lost afternoon.

The Mews

A cheese and wine night is already an outstanding addition to anyone’s week, but when that cheese and wine is bottomless, well, now you’re talking. The Mews is a sophisticated bar tucked away on a thriving street of independents just behind Deansgate. Their take on ‘unlimited’ comes in the form of a fondue recipe using Fontina cheese, along with bottomless wine. It’s rich and creamy and comes served with a selection of bread, crackers and meats for dipping. It’s £35 per person and this is a popular one, so the restaurant advises you to book a week in advance if you want a spot.

New Century Kitchen

If it’s variety you’re after, get yourself down to New Century Kitchen, where their multi-kitchen set up lends itself perfectly to a whole host of culinary preferences and demands. £30 per person gets you a dish from a brunch menu – which spans all their traders from Ply to Bahn Vi Vietnamese street food – plus unlimited beers, fizz and Aperol. £35 gets you all of that, plus unlimited selected cocktails too. This sleek venue will definitely win you some cool points too.

The Pen & Pencil

Northern Quarter bar and restaurant Pen & Pencil have decided to get in on the brunch act by offering an entirely all-inclusive brunch. For £50 per person you can have as many drinks and as much food as you can manage, although they are keen to stress that you can only have one drink and one dish on the go at once. So on the last Saturday of each month from 10am to 1pm you can head down and take advantage of this generous offer. The dishes include classics like rarebit, eggs benedict and even steak and eggs, while the drinks offering includes lager, mimosas, bloody marys and more. In terms of decadent daytime dining, you can’t argue with all that.

Ramona

Ramona, who are purveyors of ‘slow fires and wild spirits’, have one of the most radically simple bottomless premises around. Between midday and 3pm every Saturday and Sunday you can have a slice of their second-to-none Detroit pizza (outside of Detroit that is) and unlimited beverages, including house lager, frozen margs, spritzes and more, for an all-in price of £38. If you like your weekends with a slice of day-party-in-an-MOT-garage vibes, Ramona’s the one for you.

RAFT

With their exclusive Mykonos-meets-the-Balearics premise, trendy Spinningfields haunt Raft’s bottomless offering is suitably beachy-but-boujie. The ‘Bohème Brunch Club’ consists of two courses and unlimited drinks for 90 minutes. First, a mezze board of Middle Eastern dips and skewers arrives, then there’s a choice of elegantly presented fish and meat dishes with Asian-inspired sides. Oh, and to top it all off, a selection of expertly executed sushi. Drinks include fizz, beer and spirit and mixers. Who said Manchester has everything but a beach?

Sicilian NQ

This little slice of Palermo of a Northern Quarter back street offers one of the most sun-drenched bottomless options around. With a pasta-led menu full of fresh and authentic dishes, just pick a main and pick what type of drink you’d like endless quantities of – £40 gets you endless fizz, while £50 means you can sip unlimited Aperol and limoncello spritzes for 90 minutes. That’s enough to convince anyone you’re on your holidays.

Shack

Saturdays at Shack are all about their Disco Brunch. For £32.50 per person, you can enjoy a brunch main with unlimited beer, wine and fizz. For £40 per person, cocktails are thrown in too. Choose from brunch staples like smoked salmon on sourdough and french toast, or you can order from the wraps and burger menu too. Hey, why not go all in for £45 you get all the above, plus a bottomless cocktail fountain. Extra sparkle is added courtesy of a soundtrack of disco bangers. Who needs the club when you have brunch like this?

Tampopo

Tampopo have recently launched a new boozy pan-Asian bottomless experience and it includes a three course feast, plus 90-minutes of free-flowing booze for £38 per person. Advanced bookings and walk-ins are welcome across all three of Tampopo’s Manchester sites at Corn Exchange, Albert Square and Trafford Centre, and there’s loads of drinks to sort you out, including lager, fizz, bellinis and even rum buckets. Tampopo’s brunch dishes are inspired by various Asian cuisines, like the Bali brunch bowl and Thai-style omelette.

WowYauChow

With restaurants in Altrincham and Swinton, WowYauChow is home to fusion cuisine which takes as its starting point all your favourites from the Great British Chinese takeaway. On Saturdays, for 90 minutes, you can choose to enjoy one, two or three ‘brunch baskets’ which are vast sharing platters of Chinese snacks, baos, soups and noodles. If you have a craving for satisfying comfort food of the salt and pepper variety, alongside beer, fizz and cocktails like a strawberry daiquiri slush or a peach bellini, we couldn’t come up with anything better than this.
