The Sunday Market is open to all traders as long as they really care about what they are selling and offer an alternative to the high street. Partnered with Islington Mill The Sunday Market is aiming to create a relaxing and creative Sunday destination for the people of Manchester.

They will host an array of workshops and events to coincide with the market, this weekend there will be a Sumi Ink Club,  a Los Angeles-based drawing collective founded in 2005 by Sarah Rara and Luke Fischbeck. the group holds regular, open-to-the-public meetings to execute topsy-turvy, detailed, collaborative drawings using ink on various surfaces in each of its permutations. Sumi Ink Club uses group drawing as a means to open and fortify social interactions that bleed into everyday life. The event is non-hierarchical: all ages, all humans, all styles will be welcomed.

There will also be Sunday papers to read, board games to play and ‘Food by Kim’ to eat.  The art gallery at the Mill as well as the Salford Zine library will also keep people entertained on a Sunday.

The Market runs every week from 12pm until 4pm.
