Gliding through the closely gathered tables at Matt & Phred’s – a venue well known and respected on the soul and jazz circuit – Manchester based singer Charlie Cooper takes her place before her nine piece band and launches into what will become a two set performance.

The quality of her live performance and the strength already evident in her song writing ability surely means that before very long her set will be completely her own and that will indeed be something to see.
