The Marcus Intalex Music Foundation (MIMF) is a not for profit organisation and platform to support and nurture talent in many aspects of music development and the culture that surrounds it. D‘n’B icon and techno visionary Marcus Intalex, who tragically died in May 2017, had a great passion to encourage and guide aspiring music talent, as well as pass on the knowledge he himself acquired over the course of his long-standing and successful career.

The MIMF plans to build a unique, multi-faceted music facility in Manchester; supporting creative industries in the north and serving the local community, with both professional and educational resources. Alongside this, MIMF will host and facilitate a series of programming for people of all backgrounds to explore, learn and immerse themselves in everything musically.

All of this programming will be designed and led by influential music practitioners from a range of backgrounds; with support for MIMF already coming from Goldie, Dave Haslam, Mary Anne Hobbs, Bicep, MC DRS, Willow, Dub Phizix, Children Of Zeus and D-Bridge to name but a few.
