Blossoms have this morning announced their biggest show to date, which will take place at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester next summer.
Set to take place on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 25, the Stockport favourites will be joined by a number of other acts for the all-day outdoor gig.
Inhaler, Shed Seven, The K’s, Seb Lowe and TTRRUUCES will join the ‘Your Girlfriend’ hitmakers at the South Manchester park. It follows a successful debut event at Wythenshawe Park headlined by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds earlier this year.
Tom Ogden, lead vocalist of Blossoms, said: “Headlining our biggest show yet at Wythenshawe Park is going to be THE moment of our career so far for us. It makes me think of me and Joe going to watch Oasis and The Stone Roses at Heaton Park back when we were teenagers, and how important these big summer Manchester shows are to people.
“It made us want to be in a band, affected what we wore and changed our lives forever. To misquote Dorothy, ‘Lads, I’ve a feeling we’re not on Oldham Street anymore!”
Fans can pre-order Blossoms’ forthcoming album to gain access to presale tickets, which will be available from 10am on Thursday 9 November. General sale tickets go on sale on Friday 10th November at 10am here.
