We’ve got Italo vibes all the way from Berlin, a rare appearance from one of the most influential acts in all of British electronica and a Valentine’s Day date with a particularly smooth customer at Co-op Live.

Toy Tonics: Italomania – Kapote, Sam Ruffillo, Camilla Reghenzi at Band on the Wall
Italomania comes to Manchester, taking over the iconic Band On The Wall. The event on 1 February will celebrate a fresh chapter in dance music, the rising wave of Italian disco producers pushing boundaries and reshaping the sound of club culture. Curated by Berlin’s most excellent Toy Tonics label, Italomania brings together a fresh collective of Italian artists blending vibrant vocals with innovative sounds. This night will explore the spectrum of disco — classic Italo, rare finds, Afro disco, NY punk funk, 80s new wave, and indie dance, with sets from Kapore, Sam Ruffillo and Camilla Reghenzi.
Carousel Clouds at The Eagle Inn
Carousel Clouds kickstart 2025 with their first gig of the year at The Eagle Inn. Joining them at the Salford venue will be L I M and an acoustic set from Dreaming of Citra. Catch the show on Saturday 1 February.
Sticky Heat 5th Birthday with Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip) at The Yard
The most excellent Sticky Heat celebrate the auspicious occasion of their fifth birthday with an intimate party at The Yard headlined none other than Hot Chip frontman Alexis Taylor. He’ll be taking to the controls with support on the night from Guy Hornsby and Sticky residents Muddy Feet, Massey and Marco Giannini.
Bowling For Soup at Aviva Studios
Aviva Studios host punk rock legends Bowling For Soup in February as they celebrate 20 years of their legendary album A Hangover You Don’t Deserve. Hailing form Texas, the band have enjoyed a hugely successful career since they formed in 1994, attracting a global fan base. The High School Never Ends singers perform in Manchester on Saturday 8 February 2025 at the home of Factory International.
Inhaler at O2 Apollo
Indie rock band Inhaler have announced their biggest ever UK tour, including a date in Manchester. The four-piece from Dublin will release their third album Open Wide on 7 Feburary 2025, before embarking on dates across the globe. The My Honest Face hitmakers will play at O2 Apollo in Manchester on Saturday 8 February 2025.
10 Years Of 23 Degrees: Izco & Novelist, Main Phase, Silva Bumpa, G33 & Killa P at Hidden
Marking a decade of shows across Europe, 23 Degrees return to where it all started in Manchester. Celebrating 10 years of 23 Degrees, they will be taking over all three floors of Hidden to deliver a night of UKG, jungle, grime and 140. They have invited some of the key artists from their journey, artists from the roster and new exciting faces, with a line-up including Izco, Novelist, Main Phase, Silva Bumpa and more.
Cyndi Lauper at Co-op Live
80s pop icon Cyndi Lauper brings her farewell tour to Manchester in 2025, after a wild performance at Glastonbury. The American singer, now a spritely 71-years-old, released her debut album in 1986 and is known for her huge hits Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, True Colours and, of course, Time After Time. She plays at Co-op Live on Sunday 9 February.
Ben Barnes at New Century
Singer, songwriter and actor Ben Barnes has announced a pair of UK dates as part of his 2025 world tour. Celebrating the release of his debut album Where The Light Gets In, he will perform at New Century on 10 February 2025. Ben is best known for his acting career, having previously starred in The Chronicles Of Narnia, Dorian Grey and Jackie & Ryan, as well as Netflix blockbusters Westworld and Shadow and Bone.
Sherelle and RP Boo at The White Hotel
The unstoppable Sherelle zips up the M1 for an elongated set at Salford’s Finest, The White Hotel. Expect rave-based carnage through the night, with the NTS regular joined on the decks by Chicago’s RP Boo – pioneer of the footwork or ‘Chicago juke’ sound. There will be vibes.
Craig David at Co-op Live
Craig David, one of the most successful artists in UK chart history, brings his Commitment tour to Manchester next year. Joined by special guest Lemar, the 7 Days hitmaker and multi-award winning musician will play at Co-op Live on Friday 14 February 2025.
10 Years of Love International at The Loft
The Love International festival in Croatia has become the stuff of post-Balearic legend over the past decade, re-evoking the early spirit of Ibiza with blissful parties on land and sea. Celebrating the milestone, founder Dave Harvey (also behind the Futureboogie record label) will be joined on the decks by Shanti Celeste at The Loft, promising ‘disco amore, peachy house, fresh techno’. Sign us up.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre at Albert Hall
American psych-rockers The Brian Jonestown Massacre will play a 14-date UK tour in February 2025, including a stop in Manchester. Frontman Anton Newcombe said: “It will be great to be back! It will be great to be anywhere! I am super excited.”
The Hallé Presents Philip Glass: Glassworks at RNCM
In collaboration with the RNCM, the Hallé presents a festival celebrating Philip Glass’ best-loved works. Following the success of his larger-scale orchestral and stage creations, Philip Glass wanted to write something that would be more accessible to a wider audience. He composed Glassworks, a work in six movements, in 1981. Audiences can hear this work performed by the Hallé, conducted by Colin Currie.
Snow Patrol at Co-op Live
Snow Patrol celebrate the release of new LP The Forest Is The Path, their first new album in six years, with an eight date UK and Ireland tour for 2025. The Chasing Cars hitmakers will play at Manchester’s Co-op Live on Saturday 22 February.
Autechre at New Century
Their only UK show of 2025, icons of UK electronica Autechre will land at New Century for a four-hour event, with support from SDEM. Rochdale-raised Rob Brown and Sean Booth have been collaborating since 1987, predominantly for Sheffield’s pivotal Warp Records, releasing some of the most influential underground electronic albums in the decades since. Expect the unmistakeable sounds of ice-cold electro, glacial techno and deep, atmospheric ambience.
Homoelectric at Hidden
One of Manchester’s biggest queer club nights returns to its spiritual home of Hidden home for the first party of 2025. Homoelectric has grown to be one of the city’s most popular raves of recent times dedicating the dance floor to ‘homos, heteros, lesbos, don’t knows and disko asbos’. Expect residents Gina Breeze and Jamie Bull at the controls.
