After much anticipation, and an impressive variety of rumours ranging from ‘London’, to ‘round the corner from the old venue’, the wait is over.
WHP powers-that-be have revealed their decision to move the raver’s favourite outside of the City Centre, and into an old industrial factory on Trafford Wharf Road, Old Trafford.
Fear not geographically-challenged urbanites, the space is a mere 1 mile outside of the centre, the organisers have pinkie-promised that signage will be rife, and they’ve even put on a special shuttle bus back into town post-event.
The venue is said to be bigger and better, and solves the acoustic and other technical problems that Store Street posed. The proof will be in the pudding as dedicated partiers take the journey this coming Easter Friday and Sunday to sample the new space, but as much as it’s a shame to no longer be able to legitimately urinate in the middle of a car park, I say good on Team WHP for keeping things fresh and evolving.

Tickets are still available for Friday’s showcase featuring WHP veterans Eric Prydz, James Zabelia and Nic Fanciulli to name but a few.
