A brand new immersive horror show is coming to Diecast this halloween... and it's set to be 'truly nightmarish'

It's called 'Time to Die'. We like what they did there.

A new immersive scare show is launching in Manchester’s city centre mega-venue Diecast for Halloween, and it’s called Time To Die.

You can experience it from Friday 4 October to Saturday 2 November, and tickets go on sale Friday 30 August 10am.

Inside the former metalworks of Diecast – a once-derelict and suitably spooky setting – visitors will find two unique experiences, The Die Is Cast and The Toymaker.

In The Die Is Cast, ‘The Dice Master sees all and watches everyone’s step as they lose themselves ever
deeper in his gargantuan labyrinth of fear. The die is cast and making it out alive is at stake, braving a truly intense 20 minutes of adrenaline-fuelled panic’.

Then, in The Toymaster, ‘a shell of a man hunches over his workbench, long fingers twitching away as he ceaselessly practices his dark art. He is a creator of monstrosities and for those unlucky enough to stumble upon him, only those bold enough will make it out’.

The creative team behind the immersive experience – Area 51 – have won awards for their previous work, so you know you’re in for a treat (and a trick).

And there’ll also be live entertainment and street food too, plus tarot readings, mystics, a fortune teller and more.

Matt Page, Area 51’s director and designer, said: “We took one look at Diecast and knew it would be perfect; hands-down the best location we have ever seen for an immersive horror experience and right in the city centre; it’s the stuff of nightmares even without the ghouls. We look forward to delivering something truly horrifying come this October; this will be brutal!”
