“Here at Barista Cafe Bar, we have been serving amazing food alongside exceptional service ever since we opened our doors in July 2010. Over the years our establishment has become a go-to destination for those seeking a relaxing daytime dining experience in a casual and inviting atmosphere.” Reading those words back, it should go without saying the team at Barista Cafe Bar take great pride in their diverse, thoughtfully curated menu, and welcome customers with open arms and big smiles. Located at The Rock, Bury town centre’s leading retail destination, this place offers more than the great coffee which inspired its name.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our love for great food and service with you. Whether you are looking for a place to enjoy a delicious breakfast, a cozy spot for a business lunch, or a casual dinner setting,” the team continues. The menus are similarly versatile, and divided into Summer and Winter — depending on the time of year you visit, you’ll pick from one or the other. During warmer months, highlights include Barista rump steak & chips, tempura fish & chips, mussels in garlic & white wine, halloumi avocado burger, and the vegetarian tapas platter.

You’ll also find fresh salad bowls, loaded flatbreads, soups, sandwiches, side and breakfast plates on offer. Winter, meanwhile, brings about creamy mushrooms and spinach, turkey & pork bon bon, smoked haddock fishcake, sticky stilton steak melt, butternut squash & sage ravioli, seabass with creamy mash, apple & cranberry bangers, and definitely no shepherd’s puy (we’ll let you work that one out). It’s also worth noting a separate Sunday menu offers brunch and more, and this also changes with the season. Where possible ingredients are sourced from independent, local suppliers, and there’s a fully licensed bar with beers, wines, spirits and more to go at. An deal choice for those who want high quality cuisine without formalities.
