Art-led florists studio bringing moments of wonder to the Northern Quarter and creating joy in the everyday

An artist-led floristry studio in the heart of the Northern Quarter, Frog is committed to “creating joy in the everyday” and the team here have been responsible for some of the most eye-catching window displays and arrangements in Manchester city centre and beyond. Often informed by fantastical ideas, but realised through natural forms and elements, the business caters to corporate clients and individual customers, creating pretty much anything a floral heart could desire. Before we get to all that, though, let’s start with the highly regarded workshops on offer here, helping people improve their skills and perfect the art of floristry and flower design.

Whether putting together a bold statement bouquet or a brightly coloured, extravagant piece of head gear, the choice is varied and instantly appealing. At the time of writing, recent classes had included the hugely popular vase display workshop, a headdress collaboration with the Causeway Charity, which works to protect victims of modern day slavery, sessions on dried flowers, and a more in-depth Full Day Intensive Workshop. Beyond this, think lessons in Colour Theory and the basics of Flower Crowns, and that’s really still scratching the surface of the school. And that’s really just one part of Frog Flowers.

Another big reason Frog ranks as one of the UK’s leading floristry studios is its florist services, with same day delivery available, not to mention the hugely ambitious installation work. Like the stunning entrance to Peter Street drinking institution Albert’s Schloss, for example. You can also hire services for weddings and other events, ensuring your memorable day will have the perfect look and styling, no matter the occasion. In addition to the Northern Quarter site, the team operate inside Selfridges at the Trafford Centre, too, where you’ll find a large range of flowers, plants and gifts for sale.
