Stockport’s The Norah Store began life as an online platform to discover charming, independent brands, designers and makers not just in Manchester – but worldwide, too.
Since its inception, Founder Elizabeth Morgan, alongside her small team has focused on a community of small, slow, female-led and sustainable businesses to provide shoppers with a refined and planet conscious experience.
Tomorrow, the store will open its studio space in Stockport for one day only from 12pm – 5pm, so that customers can shop all of its splendid products up close and in person.
You can expect all of The Norah Store’s cult brands on offer, alongside ‘vintage treasures rummage boxes’ for £5 and £10 per piece and a chance to sample the store’s new skincare range.
There’ll also be a big discount rail featuring brands such as House of Sunny, Find Me Now and loads more at a fraction of the original price.
The store’s newest collection from Arthur Apparel will be available to buy, consisting of Glorified daywear demonstrating the meeting of androgynous cuts and feminine fabrics. You’ll also find ceramics, accessories, shoes and handbags from brands that are usually difficult to find in store.
The Norah Store is situated in Stockport’s Vernon Mill, not far from the infamous Underbank, where you’ll also find a host of independent stores, alongside some great, local food and drink.
The likes of Top of the Town Vintage, Rare Mags, Yellow Hammer and The Good Rebel all reside around the corner from where The Norah Store is situated – so you can make a big day of it, exploring everything great Stockport has to offer.
The studio will be open from 12pm until 5pm tomorrow, where you’ll also get the chance to meet the wonderful team behind The Norah Store who will be on hand to talk through products and answer any questions you may have about the brands and products on offer.
