Taking place this Sunday 15th May, Dollparts nail salon in Northern Quarter is hosting a clothes swap for your pre-loved pieces to find a new home.
Focused on women’s clothing only, this weekend will see guests bring up to 10 items of clothing each to be swapped for other vintage treasures.
The clothes swap will take place from 11.30am until 1pm and, upon arrival, items will be counted and each person will receive a swap card. For each item of clothing you bring, you’ll get a stamp, and each stamp is worth one new item! Any stand-out items will be given 2 stamps, so they can be swapped for something a bit fancier.
Then, it’s all about mingling, browsing and swapping your garments for fresh, new, funky outfit ideas with your fellow fashionistas.
There’ll be drinks available, alongside rails of clothes that you can try on from other sellers present at the event! The best thing about clothes swaps is that there’s always a mix of styles and items, meaning that it will be fairly impossible to leave empty handed and head full of new outfit ideas.
Tickets for the clothes swap are £10 per person and this gets you access to all you need for a sustainable wardrobe refresh.
The event will run from 11.30am – 1pm and you’re encouraged to arrive promptly between 11.30am and 12pm to make the most of it.
As you leave the event, your swap card will be updated and any unused stamps can be carried over to the next swap event.
Dollparts is located on the third floor of Afflecks Palace. Enter the building via the Oldham Street entrance, next to the Manchester shop and follow the staircase all the way to the top!
